Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in my stay?

Inclusions depend on the package and rate in your quotation. Meal plans can be arranged depending on season and offer. Transfers are not included in villa rates, and some dining, excursions, spa treatments and activities may be chargeable. Please confirm inclusions in your quote before booking.

How do I get to Conrad Maldives Rangali Island?

The journey starts at Velana International Airport. Guests transfer by seaplane, about 30 minutes in the air and operating in daylight hours, or by speedboat, which takes about four to five hours. Both are subject to availability and weather. Charges and timings are stated in your quotation.

Which villa is best for a honeymoon?

Couples often choose the Deluxe Water Villa with Pool or the Sunset Water Villa with Pool on adults-only Rangali Island. Tell us your priorities, such as sunrise or sunset views, a pool or a beach setting, and we will recommend a villa.

Is the resort suitable for families?

Yes. Rangalifinolhu welcomes families, with villas such as the Family Beach Villa, the 2 Bedroom villas and the 3 Bedroom Beach Suite with Pool. Rangali Island is adults-only, with no guests under 16 in its water villas, except in the 2 Bedroom Rangali Ocean Pavilion with Pool. Occupancy depends on the villa and the ages of children, so tell us who is travelling.

Can I stay at The Muraka?

The resort is enhancing The Muraka Residence and currently schedules its reopening for 15 December 2026. Send us your dates and we will request availability and details from the resort.

What's the best time to visit?

The Maldives can be visited year-round. November to April is generally drier with calmer seas, while May to October may have more tropical showers and attractive seasonal rates. Weather cannot be guaranteed at any time of year.

Can I see whale sharks?

South Ari Atoll is known for whale sharks, and the resort offers whale shark talks and snorkelling trips. Sightings depend on conditions and cannot be guaranteed.

Can I customise my dining experiences?

Dietary requirements, allergies and special occasions can be shared with the resort in advance. In-villa dining and special dinners can be requested, subject to availability and additional charges.

What payment methods are accepted?

Payments are made through Bank of Maldives using online payment options and are collected on behalf of the wholesale partner or resort. Each payment comes with an invoice and receipt, and the deposit, payment deadline and any fees are stated in your quotation. A reservation is confirmed only after the required payment is received and written confirmation has been issued.

What's the cancellation policy?

Cancellations and refunds follow the resort's policy for your rate and package. We give you the written cancellation rules, refund steps and timelines before you pay, and refunds go back to the original payment method.

Is travel insurance recommended?

Yes. We recommend insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies and evacuation. The Maldives is remote, and comprehensive coverage is wise.

How can I contact the resort after booking?

We remain your point of contact for your reservation. Once your booking is confirmed we will share the details you need for pre-arrival coordination with the resort.
